EXPLORE COMMUNITIES IN SW WASHINGTON
In their historic journey through the Louisiana Purchase wilderness, Lewis and Clarke famously landed in Southwest Washington in 1805. In his notes, Lewis referred to the land the most desirable place to settle West of the Rocky Mountain range. Since the brave adventurer’s sound advice, Southwest Washington has become home to a number of picturesque towns. Just off the “Great River of the West” otherwise known as the Columbia River, the region offers the Washington activities and experiences you’d expect: fertile estuaries, scenic forest, a river gorge, parks, bike paths, and lakeside views. In the midst of it all, there are idealistic homes both small and large. A combination of Washington’s two major identities, the rugged logger and the high tech entrepreneur, Southwest Washington’s new homes are distinctly rustic, fitting their rugged esthetic right into the landscape with beautiful wood work inside and outside the house, while incorporating all the modern amenities you enjoy.
