Dori Olmsted is one of Portland’s best and brightest in luxury real estate. Dori obtained her real estate license in 2002 and is now the Vice President of Business Development at Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty Portland office. As a highly regarded agent, Dori is known for her enthusiasm, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and her local expertise. Working primarily by referral, Dori helps with both sellers and buyers throughout the greater Portland area. She pays close attention to detail, and fosters positive relationships with the agents and clients she works with. Prior to selling real estate, Dori worked in the mental health field as a therapist at the State Hospital in Salem Oregon and eventually as a clinical supervisor in a rehabilitation program for over eight years. Her mental health background provides a skill set that has been essential in her success as a real estate professional, allowing her to navigate complicated and difficult circumstances that often arise in real estate transactions. Dori is a Pacific Northwest native and moved to Portland after graduating from Washington State University. She's participated in the Hood-to-Coast relay for the last 15 years and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon. At home, you can find Dori tending to her garden or experimenting with Italian-inspired recipes. She is a true Portlander who loves exploring all the beauty and nature Oregon has to offer, as well as volunteering during her free time at St. Vincent de Paul and her son’s school. She and her family also like to relax at their cabin on Lake Merwin.
