Ken Whiteman is a 13 year Gorge resident with a passion for entrepreneurship. Holding degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics, and coming from a high tech background, Ken has started and grown several successful Oregon companies, including pFriem Family Brewers. He has developed deep connections within the business community of Hood River and has a passion for economic development in the Columbia River Gorge.

With significant experience in marketing, negotiation, project management, construction management, and finance, Ken brings a business-minded perspective to real estate.

Ken serves as President of Breweries in the Gorge, Vice President of the Oregon Brewers Guild, has served on Governor Brown's Workforce Investment Board, and the Hood River Urban Renewal Advisory Board.

Ken lives in White Salmon, WA with his two sons Matty and Zach. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves to mountain bike, kiteboard, ski, mountaineer, fly fish, backpack, surf and travel internationally. Attracted to the Gorge by the outdoor lifestyle, you'll find him enjoying the mountains, trails and rivers in his free time.
