Mary Bartholomew moved to Central Oregon in 2003 to chase the snow and live the Central Oregon lifestyle. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest and spent her childhood playing competitive soccer. She was fortunate to earn a full ride scholarship to Portland State University where she played for 2 years and then moved on to play for the Oregon Ducks for her Junior and Senior years. Being an athlete and competing was her passion so she went on to play for the first ever women's semi-professional soccer team in Portland playing in the PCSL for 2 years after she graduated college.
