First Thursday with Serena Van Vranken

We are excited to announce our artist for July’s First Thursday event is Serena Van Vranken. Featured will be pieces from her series Living: Hand to Mouth. What Sustains Us? which focuses on human gestures and how they can define people. We will also have live music from musician Justin Sheehy. We hope you will join us from 5 – 8pm at our Pearl District office this Thursday, July 2nd. We will be serving refreshing cocktails and appetizers, to provide a break from the warm weather. Leading up to the holiday weekend, we expect this First Thursday to be a popular event!

Kitchen Kaleidoscope

Join Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty at Pronghorn (65600 Pronghorn Club Drive, Bend) for the 17th year of Kitchen Kaleidoscope, this Saturday, June 27th from 10 AM – 3 PM. Tour amazing Pronghorn estate homes designed by some of the area’s best builders – Sun Ridge Building Co. LLC and Norman Building and Design LLC, while enjoying catering by local chefs & beer by Deschutes Brewery. The cost is $25/ticket ($30 at the door) and proceeds will benefit the Assistance League of Bend.


Portland Named A Top City for Millennials

In a recent post by Forbes, Portland was named the 18th best city for Millennials in 2015. Taken into account were the percentage of the population that is made up of millennials (ages 25-34), millennial newcomers, unemployment rates and median rent. Sometimes referred to as “a city were young people go to retire”, this recent ranking proves that Portland is living up to its billing. Bend’s First Friday Artist – Linda Ziegenhagen

First Friday in Bend, Oregon welcomes photographer Linda Ziegenhagen to our downtown office gallery. An Oregon native, Linda grew up in Ashland, studied at Southern Oregon College and taught middle school in Redmond. After retiring, she decided to turn her appreciation for this state, travel and the outdoors into a new career in photography. With a focus on landscapes & Western life, Linda’s art emphasizes the natural beauty of this outdoor mecca that so many of us are fortunate enough to call home. Please join us this Friday, June 5th from 5Pm-8PM for art, snacks, wine & fun.


First Thursday in the Pearl – Featuring Artist Gabe Fernandez

For the month of June, Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty’s Pearl District Office will feature the work of Gabe Fernandez. The gallery will be open during this month’s First Thursday on June 4th, from 5-8pm and will include live music, cocktails and appetizers to accompany Gabe’s art. A Portland based artist, Gabe received a BFA in Painting from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Recently featured on the Oregon Art Beat, Gabe has been a staple in the West Coast art community since the late 90’s, having been featured in galleries from L.A. to Seattle.

Serving as the Portland metro headquarters, the new space, in downtown Lake Oswego’s Lake View Village, will open in July.
