At the urging and support of Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty broker Robyn Tuttle and Lorna Nolte, both SRWC members and local realtors, the Power of 100 Program applied for a Charitable Gift from the Central Oregon Association of Realtors (COAR).
Members of COAR are committed to community involvement and nominate nonprofits for consideration. In 2018, COAR donated over $100,000 to non-profits and events in Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook Counties.
Just before the Welcome Event, the SRWC was notified that ten women who donated to Power of 100 would have their $100 donations matched with a COAR Charitable Gift. The gift along with our Power of 100 donations brings us within reach of funding the KIDS Center Project THRIVE—$8,600 of our $10,000 goal.
The KIDS Center Project THRIVE, gives children the opportunity to tell their story when a loved one abuses or neglects them in a child friendly environment. It insures that children in south Deschutes County receive the services they need to be safe and recover.
If you want to be one of the 14 members still needed, join the Power of 100 Program at http://www.sunriverwomensclub.com/the-power-of-100 or send a check for $100 to SRWC, PO Box 3334, Sunriver, OR, 97707
