Gresham has got a lot going on, both in and around the city. The people who live here are proud of it, and you can see why when you take the time to look a few of their photos. If you’re ready to experience the best of every season, complete with pink-tinged mountains from the sunset then get ready to learn more. Autumn colors, lush greenery from the rains, winter wonderlands and countless blooms in summer are all waiting for you. Drive just thirty minutes to Multnomah Falls, an impressive waterfall where you can hike about a mile up to see it from both the bottom and the top. You will not be sorry to visit here during any month of the year. You’ll not only be surrounded by some of the best mountains in the United States (only Colorado might challenge Oregon’s splendor), but you’ll also have the opportunity to feel the water in your hair at the Columbia River Gorge just 15 minutes away. Gresham is dedicated to preserving its small town feel which is why the town limits congestion in its retail areas. You’re not likely to find a Wal-Mart or other big box stores there, only neighborhood-owned shops run by your friendly townspeople. Getting involved with the community is highly encouraged and easy to do. Working with kids or volunteering to help the local wildlife or natural vegetation can increase your presence in the town and give you that same sense of pride which comes from living in a place you love.
